Lingco is excited to be hosting the American Classical League (ACL) Exams! We’ve created a modern online educational platform designed to help instructors more effectively teach students foreign languages. We’re doing everything we can to make the exam this year as smooth as possible, and we’ve created this guide to help get you started. After going through the exam guide, if you have any questions pertaining to ACL exams, please contact the ACL Administrators at [email protected].
Lingco is a modern web-based application that works best with the latest version of Google Chrome, running on a laptop or desktop computer (either Mac, PC or Chromebook). It should also work on the last two versions of Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, but Chrome is highly recommended. The activities used in the ACL Exams are designed for larger screens, so we don’t support using any mobile device or tablet at this time.
In order to take the ACL Exams on Lingco you’ll also need:

If you did not receive exam links from the ACL exam administrators you can obtain them from the ACL’s website ( https://www.aclclassics.org/ ):

Clicking an exam link will take you to this page (ensuring the instructor code is generated from the registration link), prompting you to create a Lingco account or log in to an existing Lingco account.

<aside> 💡 NOTE: Each ACL exam will have its own unique registration link. If you’re going to administer multiple ACL exams, you’ll register for one of the exams, then click on another ACL exam registration link to register for that one - and so on and so forth. You can use the same Lingco account to register for multiple ACL exams!
